Thinking of putting your house on the market? Before taking the leap remember, first impressions are everything!

Here are just a few ideas that won't break the bank to get you more bang for your buck.

**Curb Appeal - Maintain your lawn. Keep grass cut, fresh mulch will livin up your landscaping and don't forget to pull those weeds.

**De-clutter your living spaces. Remember less is more.

**De-personalize - remove photos of family and friends.

**Fix the small stuff, change out burnt light bulbs, tighten loose handles, change air filters, etc.

**If it's in your budget, a fresh coat of paint (in neutral colors) will update any home both inside and out. It's a great DIY project.

**Make it SPARKLE!!  Clean, Clean, Clean.... A clean house smells good. Don't mask odors, get rid of them. Often with pets it can be challenging, but it can be done.

**Don't leave valuables lying around. Jewelry, cash, presccription drugs, etc. should all be saved away.

**Consider staging your house. Most Realtors can help you with this.

Remember, first impressions are everything. Be sure to take the steps to get the most bang for your buck.
